Employment

Working with us

At Sunnyside House we are more than a workplace - we are a close knit team making a meaningful difference in the lives of people everyday.

We value compassion, respect and community, whether you are a nurse, care worker, support staff or a volunteer, you will find a supportive environment where your skills are valued and your contributions matter.

All paid positions at Sunnyside House entitle employees to the benefits of Not-For-Profit salary packing. It’s a great way to pay less tax by using part of your income to pay for everyday expenses (rent, mortgage, loan repayments etc.)  before tax is taken out of your pay. We can offer packaging of up to $15,900 per year for general living expenses plus up to $2650 for meals and entertainment.

If you are interested in any positions, please email jforrest@sunnysidehouse.com.au directly.

Volunteers:

Sunnyside House Inc. is looking for warm-hearted volunteers to help enrich the lives of our residents through social connection and meaningful activities.

We welcome volunteers who can offer regular or casual availability and are interested in supporting activities such as:

·         Craft sessions

·         Playing music (we have a piano!)

·         Friendly chats and companionship

·         Games and group activities

Sunnyside Op-Shop always enthusiastically welcomes volunteers.

Whether you can spare a few hours now and then, or would like to be involved more regularly, your time will make a real difference.
